Lake weekend with the Quince's

We spent the weekend with the Quince's at the lake. We got there in time for lunch on Saturday. Then it was time to hit the lake!! We got 5 kiddos in their swim suits, life jackets, swim shoes and sunscreen on. As soon as we got on the water, the weather didn't cooperate. We stayed close to the cove and enjoyed some boat time while we waited for the clouds to pass. The kids all feel asleep so we just cruised close to shore. The clouds never pass and we got rained on.

We had dinner, baths and bedtime. It truly felt like a summer camp with 5 kiddos in a small cabin. After all the kids were in bed and asleep, Missy and I broke out the alcohol!! We stayed up sharing stories and relaxing.
Sunday started with Amare and Grace in my face at 6:30am. Finally at 7:30am, everyone was up and ready for breakfast. Missy made some yummy egg sandwiches. Then it was time for another boat ride, except this time it had SUNSHINE!!!! We drove over to our favorite cove to go swimming. The kids loved it!! We had such a good time all being in the water.

We came in for lunch. We ate quesadillas and watched Toy Story (VCR style). We wore the kiddos out so they were good and ready for nap time. The Quince's headed home so the boys could sleep in the car. We stayed to clean up and let the girls nap.
