leaves @ the lake

Derek, the girls, and I headed to the lake on Friday to check on everything. We spent Friday evening at Clint and Carla's. Then Saturday we relaxed at our house. It was a very short weekend at the lake.

The girls helped us rake leaves. We ended up just raking them on top of the girls rather then bagging them. It was more fun to jump and play in them. The girls had a blast and ran off some energy!







Toy Story 3 is the girls' new favorite movie. They could watch it all day long and they basically did all weekend. I have Toy Story and Toy Story 2 on VHS so we got those out for them to watch too. Grace couldn't figure out why "Jessie" the girl cowboy that was introduced in Toy Story 2, wasn't in the first movie. Ava was very excited to see Bo Peep!
