9 month check up

9 month check up today! The girls are “perfect” said Dr. Nail!!! Here are the stats:

Ava Louise –
Weight: 19lbs 2oz (50%-75%)
Height: 28.5 inches (90%)
Head: 17 inches (50%)

Grace Nicole –
Weight: 20lbs 4oz (75%)
Height: 28.8 inches (95%)
Head: 17 inches (50%)

Their development skills are right on track. Dr. Nail told us to start pointing objects and things out and saying what they are. We want them to start pointing to it and one day says what it is. Also, we are going to put them in convertible car seats since the weight limit is 22lbs and height limit is 29 inches. Doc also suggested we take out the bumper because babies are using them as a “step” to get out of the crib. They slip on it and fall through crib slats and injure themselves. So all that money you spend to make this pretty nursery and we have to take it all apart! Haha! They had to get 2 shots, Hep B and Polio, but did very well. Of course they cried but it wasn’t for very long.
Grace is doing so well talking “da da da da” and Ava is going to be walking here soon. She only crawls to get to the couch so she can climb up it and hold on to walk around it. She is too smart for her own good. Grace is such a princess that she just lays there or crawls but it’s a slow crawl. She is hoping you’ll just pick her up. I’m not sure where the kid learned to be such a Diva! I bet it was in the NICU! That girl got away with more crap in there. Incase you were wondering they don’t have teeth. Dr. Nail felt around too and he didn’t find anything. He did say they can start eating table food that they can just gum to death. YEAH! That doesn’t mean cool whip Mom!!! We’ll try some peas or Dr. Nail said ground beef. FUN!

Grace found the mirror and LOVES herself and the video proves that. It’s kind of long but she’s so dang cute I couldn’t stop recording.
