Easter 2012

The girls were at Grannie and Poppy's house Thursday through Sunday since the daycare was closed on Thursday and Friday. Grannie straightened the girls hair for the first time. OMG...it was so cute! She put it up in rollers overnight and then fixed some of the curls in the morning. Derek and I met everyone at Church on Sunday morning. When we walked up to them it didn't even look like our girls. They were so adorable.

We enjoyed an awesome service and I got to witness Pastor Holmes finally. Poppy and Derek always talk about how incredible his sermons are. He really gets into it and has some great stories to share.





After church, we head to Grannie's Mom's house and enjoyed lunch and an egg hunt. Since it poured down rain the egg hunt moved inside the house. The kids loved it and the girls banked with 2 grocery bags full of candy, cookies, snacks and eggs.



We head to Mom and Dad's around 3pm and the girls fell asleep in the car. We opened Easter baskets and had dinner. Mom had her table all fancy for us with Reese Peanut Butter eggs. The girls devoured those! Emi made a cute cake that looked like a chick. Yum!


It was a great day but a long day. The girls fell asleep on the way home so we just transferred them from the car to the bed.
