My manager organized a baby shower for Derek and I at work. It turned out so great. I'd say there were about 30 people there. Beth did the flip flop cake. My manager wanted a swimming theme so they did flip flops. We got so much stuff. It was a great shower because we got a lot of stuff that we were planning on buying next week. YEAH!!
Derek of course loved being in the spotlight. He had to share all his funny stories since he had everyones attention.
Thanks to everyone for all the gifts and help and advice. We are very grateful and lucky to have such great friends, family and coworkers.
