Trick or Treat

The whole crew was over for Halloween today. Clint, Carla, Mom, Dad, Emi, Chris, Charles, Morgan and Charles' friend, Brandon. We made soup, chili and cornbread for dinner then headed out to trick or treat. From left to right: Charles, Morgan, Chris, Emi and Brandon. This was the 20-something table. The rest of the old people and two 3 yr olds sat at the other table.
The girls dressed up as a Pink Princess and a Purple Butterfly. Each had wings and a crown though so I'm not sure how accurate the costumes are.

They had such a good time walking up and down our street and ringing doorbells. Their heels were so loud clicking on the sidewalk. They sounded like horses parading the street.
They had to check out their candy as soon as the neighbor put it in their pumpkin. ha!


The girls had to pour out all their candy to see what goodies they got. Our next door neighbor gave out Doritos and packages of cookies. Jackpot!!






We had a really great night and enjoyed watching the girls ring door bells, yelling "trick or treat" and being polite as they walked away saying "Thank You". So sweet!
The night ended with some sugar cookies and pumpkin spice angel food cake. YUM!
