Elmo and a Fireman!!

In the month of May, Mrs. Mary had certains the kids had to dress up or bring something. Today was ELMO DAY!! The girls had their elmo shirts on!! Mrs. Mary wanted a fireman to come to the house and talk to the kids so Derek asked Joe if he would come in all his gear. The kids are under 2 so it's not like we can tell them to Stop, Drop and Roll. It was more to show them not to be scared when a fireman dressed in his gear comes in a fire to get you. All the kids cried when Joe got all of his gear on. Poor Joe sweated in all his gear while 5 kiddos cried and screamed! It was very entertaining. Mrs. Mary played the Elmo video where he accidently starts a fire and the firemen have to come. This was a cute video to show the kids how Elmo was scared but once he saw the fireman was there to help he realized he was a friend.







I made an Elmo cake for the kids for snack time. It was cute and very yummy! All the kids were saying "more, more". It was a great Elmo Day with a Fireman!
